Sebastian Doerr

Sebastian Doerr is a senior economist at the Bank for International Settlements, where he leads work on financial regulation, non-bank financial intermediation, and financial innovation. His research has appeared in leading academic journals such as the Journal of Finance, the Review of Economic Studies, and the Journal of Financial Economics and has been widely covered in the media and policy reports. Mr. Doerr holds a PhD in economics from the University of Zurich and is the recipient of the European Economic Association's Young Economist Award
