Mayank Kumar

Mayank Kumar is an Assistant Professor of Finance at Boston University’s Questrom School of Business. His research is in corporate finance and financial intermediation, with a focus on private equity, climate finance, and the energy transition. His work studies how financial frictions shape firms’ responses to energy-transition challenges, and how financial markets and private capital can facilitate the energy transition. He received his PhD in Finance from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
