Several cases of misuse within the Swedish Premium Pension System have brought focus on the system and led to demands for changes to protect savers. The Pension group of the Swedish Riksdag will evaluate the Premium Pension System. What should be the design of an efficient and saver friendly marketplace for funds?
Stefan Lundbergh has from the government and the Riksdag been given the assignment to evaluate what structural changes that could lead to a safer and more effective Premium Pension System. He will present his suggested solutions at an SNS/SHoF Finanspanel.
Stefan Lundbergh is a Doctor of Economic Statistics. He is active at Cardano Insights and an advisor to pension funds in the Netherlands and Great Britain.
The report will be commented on by Roine Vestman, Assistant Professor of Economics at Stockholm University and SHoF, Solveig Zander, member of the Pension group of the Swedish Riksdag and Therese Svanström Andersson, State Secretary to Minister for Health and Social Affairs Annika Strandhäll.
The Finanspanel is the meeting forum for the financial sector by SNS and the finance research institute the Swedish House of Finance at the Stockholm School of Economics.
