Welcome to a seminar where we will focus on choice architecture in pension systems basing our discussion on academic research as well as practical experiences.
Professor Richard H. Thaler from Booth School of Business, University of Chicago will give his view based on his many years of research.
After a short introduction by Annika Strandhäll, Minister for Health and Social Affairs, Anders Anderson, Director of the Swedish House of Finance, will comment on his survey where Swedish pension investors’ actual and perceived level of financial literacy was matched to their actual retirement savings decisions. Lisa Bruggen and Monika Böhnke, University of Maastricht will share results from their studies of pension communication. Paul Todd, NEST, will talk about their experiences of using choice architecture. The presenters will then take part in a panel chaired by Stefan Lundbergh, Cardano, to discuss the subjects. We will also invite the audience to join with questions and comments.
